Aerowatch Chronograph Vintage (40s)

The other limited edition the newest intends to exhibit at Baselworld 2012 show is Les Grandes Classiques Venus 203 timepiece (reference amount A 93955 AA01). Its main feature is that the renowned Venus 203 mechanical hand-wound motion that has been constructed by Ateliers Venus SA at the middle of the previous century. This caliber, just like the one in the first product by Aerowatch, features rhodium plating and Côtes de Genève decoration. It includes 17 jewels and its balance oscillates 18,000 times during the course of an hour. A power reserve featured in the movement which was created in 1950 is 36 hours.Aerowatch Les Grandes Classiques Venus 203 is housed in a round glistening stainless steel case that is 41 mm wide and has a clear case back that is secured with six screws. The very first timepiece from the firm using Venus 203 standard has a silvered dial with sun-brushed pattern. Its overall high-class appearance is further accentuated with polished baton-shaped indicators and hands. More similarities with 1942 Chronograph can be found when we turn focus on its calendar. Date is indicated on a scale located on the flange (through the inclusion of an additional hand), while month and day screens sit on the very top of the. The six o’clock position is that the place of moon phase indicator. Its silver encounter is paired with java brown leather strap (20 mm wide) that closes with an engraved folding buckle. The next model by Aerowatch, which is insired from the organization’s roots, is full of qualities that appeal to observe aficionados that cherish traditional design. Its name is Dark Tornado (reference amount A 50931 N001) and it is a component of the manufacturer’s Renaissance grande squelette lineup of products. As the name of the series indicate, it’s a watch with a skeletonized dial that shows-off the hand-winding pocket watch movement Unitas 6498-1 with lovely curved lines (which are probably responsible for the name “Tornado”).

  • Baselworld 2012: Aerowatch, a new I don’t really know much about — is set to unveil an attractive — and comparatively affordable — skeleton watch this week at Basel. If you are a lover of skeletonized watches like I am, this is one to check out. The visual effect is quite persuasive. The watch is powered by a manual end Unitas 6498 grade (42-hour power book). Priced at a relatively small $3,280. Have a look at the Aerowatch Limited Edition Price Replica Orologiwebsite…you might like what you see…. Great job Aerowatch.Transparency is just one of those buzz words now, transparency in business, politics, health… and the same is true in watches, where celebrity watches are becoming increasingly more popular. The Aerowatch Renaissance Orange Tornado (shown on the left) is a development on the Renaissance series developed in 2009 (on the right, Renaissance Big Mechanical Skeleton), and its large PVD-coated 45-mm case frames a motion in which the skeletonization has made a collection of circular waves emanating outwards in the balance. The entire gear train is available to view, and you can even glimpse the mechanism which couples and disengages the crown wheel for time modification. It is possible to observe the balance spring on top, and also the amount of stimulation of the spring may be used to gauge the power reserve. After the watch is running, the equilibrium and the tiny seconds at 6 o’clock provide a continuous awareness of movement. The straps have curved spring pubs, improving the joint between strap and case.

  • A key thing to learn about the brand is that Aerowatch Singapore Replica Orologijust entered the wristwatch market quite recently. Through the 20th century it remained a pocketwatch company. It wasn’t till 2004 that the brand started to work on original wristwatches with fine Swiss movements. Today it has a selection of models for men and women, with quartz and mechanical calibers. An significant moment for the brand was 2009, as it established its original Grandes Squelettes versions. Skeletonized versions are always a joy to gaze into, but all the more so when the moves they reveal have some history to them. That’s definitely the case with Aerowatch’s Grandes Squelettes: they are powered by hand-wound Unitas moves, which have a legacy dating back to the 1950s. Aerowatch Orange Tornado soldier 560The Renaissance Orange Tornado uses a skeletonized bridge layout. It is built off of concentric circles which emanate outwards from the equilibrium, situated at 8 o’clock. (This subtle asymmetry was also used in the Dark Tornado, which has been introduced several years ago; other Grandes Squelettes versions have different designs.) Two glowing orange hands with luminous coating are mounted at the center; a seconds subdial is at 6 o’clock. Easy, luminous hour frames are found around the perimeter of the dial, which makes for simple reading. The small seconds display has no markers, but the orange hand should make its place easy to see nonetheless. One real treat in looking at the Renaissance Orange Tornado is that its barrel is open for opinion. As you wind the movement via the crown, you can see the mainspring contract. And as it winds down over the duration of 46 hours, you’re going to have the ability to track the remaining power by simply glancing at it.

  • The movement is NAC-coated, skeletonized and completed with hand, and it may be understood from both the front and back, through the sapphire watchglass and caseback. The movement is that the Unitas 6498, hand-wound, operating at 18,000 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of about 46 hours. The opinion has the mention A 50931 NO08, along with the retail price is CHF 2,380 or $2,390. AEROWATCH was founded in the Swiss city of La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1910 and also had a forwardlooking philosophy from the very beginning. With its selection of title, the company attested its open-minded spirit and its affinity with air borne, then still in its fledgling years. For Baselworld 2013, Aerowatch Automatic 1942 Replica Orologihas enriched its successful ” Les Grandes Classiques ” set with all the new Chronograph Pilote model. The personality of the prominent watch demonstrates how robust styling and technological finesse could be combined in a conceptual masterpiece. The stainless steel case with a black PVD coating has a diameter of 42 millimeters to guarantee a stately presence on the wrist. The well-organized indications of this Chronographe Pilote display the date and the day of this week. With its black leather strap and black foldover clasp, the masculine watch cuts a good figure on almost any wrist. The Chronograph Pilote is yet another Aerowatch debut that incorporates all of the features of Swiss watchmaking creativity combined with an appealing price/performance ratio. It will appeal to many guys, also outside the community of aviation enthusiasts, and can be found only at AEROWATCH points available.

  • This specific model is, by way of instance, equipped with the Dubois-Depraz caliber 285 automatic chronograph movement. Based on the famous ETA 2824 blank caliber with an extra chronograph movement increasing the jewel count from first 25 to nearly intimidating 45, the movement is predictably more complex than a natural-born chronograph caliber such as, say the mythical ETA 7750. This essentially means two things: it will be more expensive to maintain in the long run and, when a few of its numerous parts finally gives you up, it’ll be a whole lot more expensive to repair only for the sheer amount of work that a skilled professional might have to set into it.Aerowatch 1910 Hommage Chronograph Limited Edition (ref. 73946 TI01) automatic watch (Onion setting crown). From where I stand, each time when you see a chronograph that lists an easy three-hander movement using an add-on module, you need to see that the new behind the watch attempts to cut out a corner in your own expense. Unfortunately, this is sort of common practice nowadays, and finding a watch that would be able to successfully unite interesting exterior with a “real” chronograph caliber is a job which isn’t that easy to achieve if you would like to remain within $2000-$4000 range. To sweeten the pill, the Swiss watchmaker obtained the mechanism adorned with all the famous Geneva Seal that promises the engine’s high quality and naturally, outfitted it with a branded oscillating weight that is visible through the transparent case back cover. As other pieces powered from the DD 285, the 1910 Hommage offers standard chronograph performance: a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock and a tiny moments sub-dial at 12 o’clock. As usual, the chronograph second hand is positioned on precisely the exact same axis with the hour and second hands.

  • It’s the significant diameter of 45 mm. Apart from the front of the view; the movement is also visible through the transparent case back. Unsurprisingly, this timepiece also comes with curved sapphire crystal, whereas its bezel is mended and in black colour. The dial of this third novelty by Aerowatch includes black hour and minute hands that were treated with Superluminova for enhanced visibility. There’s also a tiny seconds sign placed at the bottom of its dial. As in previous instances, water tightness is 50 m, while the ring is made of black leather and supplied with black PVD stainless steel folding clasp that matches the case. The last and unfortunately the least of these novices by the Swiss watch maker is ladies’ timepiece from the Idylle collection (reference number A 03952 AA01 DIA). A simple reason for this type of claim is an obvious impression that this view is more focused on the aesthetics compared to horological facet. Though apparently very beautiful and adorned with 46 diamonds (0.60 ct.) on its own bezel and ten more on the dial, it is a quartz timepiece provided with motion produced by Ronda (grade 585 with 1 jewel). This item features a graceful tonneau-shaped stainless steel case (with the measurement of 32mm x 35.50). Its face is guarded with cambered sapphire crystal. The color of the dial that Aerowarch designer chose is whitened mother-of-pearl. Besides ten diamond hour markers set in an odd arrangement, the dial comprises two Roman numerals (for thirty and twelve o’clock), baton-shaped hands with rhodium therapy, in addition to a subtle date aperture at the bottom. This sparkly timepiece also has water resistance to 50 meters. It is made out of a white leather strap that fastens with touch clasp.

  • Designed by the brand specifically for aficionados, this version is available only at Aerowatch 60900 Replica Orologipoints of sale.1942 — AUTOMATIC MOON PHASE Ref. Stainless steel bracelet additionally available. The new Sensual ladies’ collection from Swiss manufacturer Aerowatch features subtle tea-leaf decor imbued with a feminine spirit. The polished stainless steel case of the Sensual is fitted using two loop-style lugs through which the supple one-piece leather strap is slipped. Its whitened mother-of-pearl dial is decorated with a spangled green-tea motif (Camellia Sinensis), and accented with a diamond at 12 o’clock. The date screen in an aperture at 6 o’clock is perfectly integrated in the surface of the watch.Delicate blued palms deliver a crisp reading of this time. A color-coordinated blue onyx in the summit adds an extra bit of finesse. The easily interchangeable monochrome strap, available in different colours, creates the Sensual a ideal companion for every occasion. The elegant ladies’ watch is powered with a Swiss-made quartz movement. It comes in steel, bicolor, and rose or yellow PVD-coated steel versions. There’s also two kinds of dial offered.

    Description

    !!!PRICE REDUCED FROM 1499 EUR!!!

This very fine vintage timepiece has been in my collection for some time. It has been fully serviced in 2016 (nut and bolt service done by a professional, full disassembly of the movement, cleaning and lubricating it), thus it works properly and keeping good time with very good precision and reserve.

Please see the detailed pictures, as they are a vital part of the description of the watch. The dial has some patina spots, but I decided to leave then as they are, as they compliment the age and the good service, this watch has done for the past eight or more decades.

The watch comes with the box shown on the pictures and leather strap (different one, not the blue shown on the pictures). The blue strap (seen on the pictures) is a high quality alligator made by a well-known German manufacturer and can be included for a reasonable price.

The price is negotiable, thus feel free to send me your offers. Thank you.

    GUARANTEE, CONDITION AND RETURNS

As I am neither a professional dealer, nor a watchmaker, I shall gladly guarantee the authenticity of the pictures of the watches in my collection and that the aesthetic condition of the item sent is exactly the same to the item on the pictures. I never use downloaded pictures, nor any filters (you can see, that none of the pictures are professional).

As for the technical and mechanical condition of the watches, I take every watch for inspection to my watchmaker, to ensure whether it would need any immediate attention (service). Vintage watches may suffer from imperfections, not only visible, but also mechanical and influencing the accuracy of the watch, therefore I cannot guarantee the precision of the watch and/or the power reserve. Please keep this in mind, when considering a purchase of ANY VINTAGE WATCH FROM ANY DEALER OR COLLECTOR, as this is a general rules and should never be omitted.

Although I am not a watchmaker, I get many of my watches fully services. I have seen may ads with remarks, that the offered watch was „fully services a month ago“. However the dealer could almost never prove this service even by a bill/receipt, so pictures of the disassembled watch would were out of question. I have made some mistakes in the past and not asked the watchmaker for documents and/or pictures of the service process, but I have learned from my own mistakes and if my ad states, that the watch has been serviced, I can provide at least one picture of the disassembled movement with a newspaper or such. Also bear in mind that precision tools like watches do suffer during transportation and might need adjusting after delivery, therefore the accuracy might be affected and I do not accept return, if the watch is not as accurate as you hoped it would be. If the watch is not fully serviced and properly adjusted after delivery, it might be inaccurate, however this is a natural condition of any vintage watch and might not be considered as a flaw and/or deviation from the condition stated in the ad.

Please inspect the pictures carefully, as they are always a vital part of any watch described and if you have doubts, you are welcome to ask for more detailed pictures via chrono24 or email (chrono24 lowers the resolution of any uploaded picture, so do not hesitate to ask for other options to deliver more hires pictures), so you can feel comfortable, that you know the outer (aesthetic) condition of the watch as best as possible.

A maybe the last and best humble advice to all the potential buyers out there…in case you have any questions or doubts, just ask for more information/pictures.

I shall only accept return, if the watch is not corresponding with the pictures and/or the wording of the ad.
