In Depth Replica IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Automatic Chronograph With 60M Water- Resistant

At SIHH 2016, IWC is launching a world time watch which was the first watch that can set a second time zone along with hour and date with a single move.It was a world time watch with the IIWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner chronograph (Ref. IW395001). This automatic chronograph is 45mm wide with a steel case which, including the bezel, is some 16.5mm thick. With a solid caseback and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal (that is specially secured against rapid pressure decreases), the IWC Pilot’s Timezoner Chronograph replica meets all of IWC’s requirements for a pilot’s watch and is water resistant to 60 meters.

Inside the watch was  IWC’s calibre 89760, a 4hz movement that offers 68 hours of power reserve, a date at three, hours (max: 12) and minutes recorded on the sub dial at twelve, and a jumping hour travel function. The IWC Pilot’s Timezoner Chronograph not only features a unique way of changing timezones, it also uses a somewhat strange worldtime/GMT display that links the local 12-hour hand with the 24-hour hand.

Look at the back of the case, there’s a simple stainless steel case back with a depiction of a Junkers Ju 52 plane. Back in the 1930s this was the most common civilian aircraft. With a complicated in-house movement and a unique interfaced bezel design, the Timezoner will come on a calfskin strap. It sports the worn-looking Santoni patina along with the softer, orange leather lining.
