A tribute to the Gentlemen drivers Minoia – Morandi (the winners of the first Mille Miglia race): now also available in an automatic 3-hands version. Since 2013, Paul Picot, together with its Classic Club “Morandi”, organises a classic race which allows only cars dated before the 2nd World War to participate.
The location of the race is around the wonderful Garda Lake in Italy, a very well-known place by the cars lovers as well as for its famous races such as the Mille Miglia. Minoia and Morandi have won the Mille Miglia’s first edition in 1927 and Paul Picot makes a tribute to these legendary car drivers with a special Gentleman chronograph edition.
This year, the brand headquartered in Le Noirmont is launching the 3-hands version of the Minoia – Morandi Chronograph. A classic replica watch case with a diameter of 42 mm like the Chronograph version but thinner and more elegant.
The case in stainless steel is characterised by a personalised logo at 9 o’clock, which perfectly matches the black mat dial with Arabic numbers, inspired by the car instruments. A red seconds hand and red driver name give a “sporty touch”. A warm strap in Vintage calf leather finally completes these two replica watches.
To celebrate the year of the 1st Mille Miglia race, the first 27 bundles are sold as a pair within a single gift box.
