With outstanding dexterity and attention to detail, the artists hand-paint the “Cherry Blossom” design on a mother-of-pearl dial, which is showcased in the brand’s iconic signature “Atelier” case, in 31 mm and 33 mm diameter sizes.
The dial design is hand-made in miniature using enamel painting. Each dial takes one month to be produced. With delicate strokes of an ultrathin sable brush, the artist applies the enamel painting to a mother-of-pearl dial plate, which is then air-dried during 15 days (those dials can’t be oven baked like the Grand Feu technique).
The subtle shimmer of the natural mother-of-pearl provides the perfect backdrop for the intricate pink and white cherry blossom. Each mother-of-pearl dial is produced as a limited edition of 300 pieces, available in green, pink and blue. The genuine crocodile-leather strap matches the replica watch perfectly. An optional range with a stainless steel bracelet is also available.
