IWC Schaffhausen celebrated the opening of its first Flagship Boutique on iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills together with some of Hollywood’s most influential insiders and brightest stars. Friend of the brand Aloe Blacc, actor and comedian Joel McHale, actor James Marsden and many others joined Georges Kern, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen, to toast the new boutique and its stunning art deco design elements. The luxury replica watch manufacturer hosted an intimate and select crowd of 75 guests at the new boutique location followed by a private dinner hosted by Mr Kern at Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s prestigious Beverly Hills restaurant.
The newly updated 46-millimetre case provides the same presence as the former model but with an even more desirable look and feel. The case is made of high-tech ceramic and the crown is made of titanium. The largest self-winding movement, the IWC-manufactured 51111 calibre, has a power reserve of 7 days.
To commemorate the opening of the Rodeo Drive Flagship Boutique, IWC created the Big Pilot’s Replica Watch Edition “Rodeo Drive” (Ref. IW502003). Limited to 250 pieces worldwide, the timepiece is furnished in ceramic and titanium with a stunning blue dial, combining the classic functionality of the traditional Pilot’s Replica Watch with state-of-the-art technology, high-tech materials and modern design elements.
