I knew sharks the age of 7 and I can name nearly every species from memory. But, until I started doing some in-depth research on Michael Muller for this IWC article, I wasn’t even aware that he was known for his celebrity portraits of actors, musicians and athletes long before garnering acclaim as one of today’s premier underwater photographers. To me, Michael Muller was above all an American shark whisperer, born in 1970, who shunned the cage in favour of his camera, capturing hammerhead sharks and whales in his lens and putting the primary focus on great whites.

iwc aquatimer chronograph sharks both views

Mislabelled as terrifying monsters since the original Jaws in 1975, these huge sharks have unfortunately now fallen victim to overfishing. Among other parts, their fins are quite sought-after and the complete democratization of mass commercial fishing has reduced their food supply considerably. As protecting our oceans is one of the primary IWC missions, it was a natural choice to create the Aquatimer Chronograph Edition replica “Sharks” diving watch. Available in a limited edition of 500, each timepiece also comes with a signed copy of Michael Muller’s book entitled Sharks, packaged in a rusted metal cage replica.

As its name suggests, the fake Aquatimer Chronograph Edition “Sharks” is a diving chronograph that’s water-resistant to 30 bars, or 300 meters in depth, as substantiated by its robust 44mm diameter stainless steel case and double internal/external bezel for tracking dive time. Also in stainless steel, the case back features a medallion with an engraving of a school of hammerhead sharks.

A luminescent steel grey dial sports a large chapter ring with the renowned rotating internal bezel, luminescent elements displaying the dive time and must-have triangular marker. Two large luminescent sword hands sweep from the centre to display hours and minutes, the watch face also featuring markers and minute tracking. Elapsed seconds are shown in a black counter at 6 o’clock and the date is displayed at 3 o’clock. Sporting a discreet arrow tip, the central second hand displays seconds whilst a minute counter at 12 o’clock displays minutes.

The display features and functions of the fake Aquatimer Chronograph Edition “Sharks” are powered by the proprietary fake IWC 89365 calibre and the chronograph features flyback, automatic winding and 68-hour power reserve.

IWC get busy with the high quality fake Timezoner Chronograph

Editor’s Note: IWC’s new replica range of  Swiss made Pilot watches are a symphony in simplicity and an exercise in restraint – such straight-up clean dials and displays. En masse they shoot the pilot watch paradigm out of the sky. Which is why the contrast with the best replica Timezoner Chronograph continues to titillate. The busy, function packed dashboard of a dial and neat bezel party trick sure offer another way to fly…

IWC Schaffhausen’s  fakeTimezoner Chronograph is a good-looking watch that packs an impressively technical punch. On the face of it it’s a replica chronograph with a worldtime function. This could have been an overly complex watch, but the reference 3950 is also one of the most user-friendly we’ve seen in a long time – featuring a clever mechanism that allows you to adjust both home time and the 24-hour second time zones with a simple twist of the bezel.

Of all the 24 pilot’s fake watches IWC released this year (that includes completely new watches and relatively minor upgrades to existing models) the highly technical Timezoner is the most obvious choice for frequent travellers or, of course, pilots not wanting to lose track of time while away from home. It’s certainly IWC’s most ingenious release of the year, pairing the brand’s in-house column-wheel  aaa+ chronograph movement with stacked totalisers at the top of the dial with the bezel-controlled second time zone, demonstrated in the below video.

new range of Pilot watches

If you’ve ever been frustrated fiddling with crowns, this bezel is a revelation. The spring mounted city ring is a joy to use. It’s a patented IWC system that builds on technology initially pioneered and developed by Michael Vogt, founder of Vogard Watches. IWC has taken this technology, re-engineered it and incorporated its own innovations, notably the spring mounted rotating ring and the linked internal/external bezel seen in the latest Aquatimer collection.

new range of Pilot watches
The fake Timezoner Chronograph shares the same visual language as other watches in the Pilot’s collection, but in reality this 45mm watch wears far more modern and intuitive than its simpler brethren. If the rest of IWC’s Pilot’s collection is inspired by Spitfires and Hurricanes, the Timezoner is more suited to the cockpit of the Airbus A380 – big, complex and unquestionably state-of-the-art.

School for visually impaired in Hong Kong to receive all proceeds from IWC Replica Watch auction

At Sotheby’s Fine Timepieces auction held on 29 Nov 2015 in Hong Kong, a customized chronograph from luxury Swiss replica watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen was sold. The Pilot’s Replica Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” went under the hammer for HKD 130,000. All the proceeds from the sale will benefit IWC’s longstanding partner Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation. The Foundation will use the proceeds to support Ebenezer School, the one and only non-profit organisation in Hong Kong that provides education and training for the visually impaired in the city.

The Pilot’s Replica Watch Double Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW371807) combines highly sophisticated functions designed for flying with a captivating display recounting the beloved tale of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. This luxury replica watch features a mechanical 79420-calibre chronograph movement and a split-seconds mechanism. One unique feature is the red jumping star as the day display in the centre of the midnight blue dial.

One unique example of the Big Pilot’s Replica Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW502801) in platinum was auctioned by Sotheby’s in Geneva. IWC presented the Foundation with the record sum of CHF 173,000 to help finance the building of a school with library in Cambodia. The series of special limited editions of “Le Petit Prince” continued in 2014 with the Pilot’s Replica Watch Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW377706) and the Big Pilot’s Replica Watch Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW500908). Only recently, brand ambassador Adriana Lima opened a new library in the Hospital Pequeno Príncipe, a children’s hospital in Curitiba, Brazil. The library was made possible by the proceeds of an auction of a Pilot’s Replica Watch Chronograph Edition “The Last Flight” in platinum (Ref. IW388005), with which IWC honoured the great writer’s last flight.

Ebenezer School is the one and only non-profit organisation in Hong Kong that provides education and training for the visually impaired in the city. In support, the school partners with other agencies to offer training and internship programs to aid students’ career development upon graduation. Those attending the school gain invaluable skills for professional environment as well as comprehensive education, giving them vital tools and access to a better future.

Swiss luxury replica watch manufacturer IWC Schaffhausen has once again been inspired to produce a special edition by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s little prince. The first such model dates back to 2013, when the Big Pilot’s Replica Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW502802) and the Pilot’s Replica Watch Mark XVII Edition “Le Petit Prince” (Ref. IW326506) were launched in honour of the 70th anniversary of this world-famous story. With these, IWC paid tribute to one of the best-selling books in literary history, written by legendary writer, pilot and adventurer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Since 2006, the company has maintained a cordial partnership with Saint-Exupéry’s heirs and their charitable organization, the Antoine de SaintExupéry Youth Foundation.

Whilst being the only timepiece with this red star, the replica watch is part of a limited edition of 1000 pieces. Each day of the week, this captivating day display lights up a different star in red. The stars symbolize the seven planets visited by the little prince on his journey through the universe. The seven stars are also decoratively engraved on the back of the replica watch, along with the names of the seven inhabitants the little prince encounters: the king, the vain man, the drunkard, the businessman, the lamplighter, the geographer and finally the rose. The reverse side of the case also features a portrait of the prince himself, allowing the wearer to know which realm the little boy is visiting at any given moment.IWC Schaffhausen strengthens its long-term commitment by donating all the proceeds to the charitable Antoine Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation to globally promote the spirit and humanist values of the great French writer and aviator.

IWC Schaffhausen sets up a new boutique at Weinplatz 10, Zurich

The IWC boutique at Bahnhofstrasse 61 is no longer the only one in Zurich – the Schaffhausen luxury replica watch manufacturer now has a second store in the city at Weinplatz 10.  The new IWC boutique is located in the Haus zum Schwert opposite the Hotel Storchen at the famous Gemüsebrücke.

Just in time for Christmas, Zurich gets a second IWC boutique as Swiss luxury replica watch maker IWC Schaffhausen has come up with the perfect gift for the city.

The interior combines tradition with innovation, and with its clear design language echoes the engineering ethos that has made timepieces from Schaffhausen so much sought after the world over. The display comprises current models from all six replica watch families – the Pilot’s Replica Watches, Portugieser, Ingenieur, Aquatimer, Da Vinci and Portofino – but also includes limited-edition models that are available exclusively at IWC boutiques. During the run-up to the festive season, the store will have special window decorations designed to get passers-by into the pre-Christmas spirit.

The latest IWC boutique is located at a site steeped in history. The Haus zum Schwert is first mentioned in records of 1406. It was for many years an inn and hostelry famous throughout Europe, whose celebrated guests include the composer Johannes Brahms and Germany’s greatest literary figure Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The interior of the new store has been designed to adequately reflect the prestige of this special building: dark wood, glass and natural stone create elegant surroundings for the presentation of the luxury replica watches from Schaffhausen.

Hands-on With the 2016 IWC Big Pilot Edition “Le Petit Prince”

When IWC released the original Big Pilot in 2002 it captured imaginations, marking a defining moment in the early noughties trend for ‘big’ replica watches. It was a brute, with its hulking 46mm case and utilitarian aesthetics. And if the original ref. 5002 Big Pilot had been as pared back as its WWII inspiration, would it have captured the hearts and minds of the replica watch-loving public quite as much as it did? Probably not.Replica Roger Dubuis Watches

This year, IWC revamped its entire Pilot’s collection, and today we’re taking a closer look at one of them: “Le Petit Prince” edition of the Big Pilot. IWC makes Little Prince versions of their Pilot’s replica watches across the board, and the defining features are a charming engraving of the young fictional royal on the caseback and a rich midnight blue dial.

The IWC Big Pilot was, without doubt a luxury pilot’s replica watch. It’s a post-modern statement piece that’s the horological equivalent of the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.

This dial softens the Big Pilot, toning down the military aesthetic just a touch. The other notable design tweaks on this 2016 version are the welcome return of the number nine on the dial, balancing out the seven-day power reserve indicator on the right. The other update is the strap. Gone is the glossy alligator, in its place a supple calfskin made by Santoni. Not only is the calf a better stylistic fit for the replica watch, the quality of the strap is immediately evident.

Fourteen years after its release, the Big Pilot still possesses that almost visceral appeal that made it such a hit in the first place, and this 2016 Big Pilot Edition “Le Petit Prince” has all the elements to make it an ideal power replica watch.

Otherwise, it’s business as usual. The calibre 51111 is ticking away behind the scenes, with its vaunted Pellaton winding system and long power reserve. The well-finished case is the same, offering a nice mix of brushed and polished surfaces. This was my first time wearing a Big Pilot for any length of time, and I was surprised at how comfortable it was for such a large piece. The height (16mm) might be off-putting to some, but anyone genuinely in the market for a Big Pilot is unlikely to mind.

The Most Popular IWC Mark XVIII Pilot’s Replica Watch

Editor’s Note: IWC’s new Pilot’s range is finally in Australian stores, and boy does it look good. While we lust over the solid gold Little Prince edition of the Big Pilot Annual Calendar and get our heads around how the Timezoner works (magic, basically), there’s one replica watch in the collection we keep coming back to – the Mark XVIII. Simple, classic, awesome. Fake Watches

The Mark XVIII is the latest generation in this venerable family, tracing its ancestry back to the military issue Mark X which emerged in 1944, but getting most of its good looks from the Mark XI, first issued to RAF pilots in 1948. Here’s a particularly clean example of a Mark XI on the wrist of Mr David Seyffer, IWC’s Museum Curator.

In a world where the word is fast losing its value, IWC’s classic pilot’s replica watch is an icon in the truest sense – a utilitarian workhorse that represents the best about the brand. SIHH 2016 saw IWC give their entire pilot’s collection a revamp, with numerous new references as well as revised case sizes and dial designs for many others. While the brand’s Big Pilot and the Top Gun models tend to be the perennial buzz pieces, it’s the classic, entry level Pilot’s Replica Watch that has always been the unshakable core of the collection.

The Mark XVIII might not be the sexiest or most technically advanced replica watch IWC released at SIHH, but in my opinion it’s their best, and a welcome return to form for the brand.

In the subsequent 68 years and five design revisions (IWC didn’t make Marks XIII or XIV as these numbers are considered unlucky in some cultures) the replica watch has managed to change significantly while looking fundamentally the same. This latest version is a welcome return to form for the hardworking tool replica watch – IWC have listened to feedback from enthusiasts, toning down the case size (to 40mm) and ditching the polarising ‘altimeter’ style date of the Mark XVII. The dial design has also been brought back into line with its historical predecessor, and it now comes on a Santoni calfskin strap that suits the design much more than the overly dressy alligator.

On leather the Mark XVIII has an indicative price of $6100 on leather and $7500 on a stainless steel bracelet.

VIDEO: Our guest host, Miss Universe Australia admits she has a thing for pilots at the replica IWC 2016 Collection launch in Sydney

Our guest host, Miss Universe Australia, Monika Radulovic models the new IWC’s Pilot’s Collection at the launch in Sydney.

The crowd at last week’s unveiling of replica IWC’s 2016 Pilot’s collection was a a who’s who of Sydney’s movers and shakers – you could barely order an IWC-themed cocktail (our pick was the Miramar, in case you were wondering) without bumping into a fêted restaurateur, world famous fit-blogger, rugby player, Olympic hopeful or one of the many exquisitely cheekboned/ roughly jowelled models. It was the first time the new IWC Pilot’s collection was on display in Australia, and it was the perfect opportunity to find out what people thought of the latest models like the revamped Big Pilot, the brand new Automatic 36, and of course, the classic Mark XVIII. So, with microphone in hand, that’s exactly what we did. Spoiler alert – 2016 is going to be a big year for IWC.

With thanks to IWC Australia, Monika Radulovic and Gregory Jewellers.

EVENT: IWC’s new Pilot’s collection cleared for takeoff at extravagant event in Sydney

It was roundly considered the uncontested crowd pleaser of SIHH in Geneva, and now IWC’s revamped new Pilot’s collection is set to impress in Australia. Last Thursday, IWC pulled out all the stops to celebrate the local launch of the 2016 Pilot’s Collection. It was an elegant affair, the room full of memorabilia evoking the golden age of aviation, and the crowd looked the part. But the real sting in the tail of the strict dress code noted on the invitation?

“IWC replica watch or no replica watch.”

Thankfully those with naked wrists didn’t miss out for too long, as after the initial formalities were dispensed with, the new collection started to make its way onto admiring wrists.

Miss Universe Australia, Monika Radulovic, with IWC Australia Brand Manager Christian Westermeyer.

And this collection is set to stun for all audiences. From the biggest Big Pilot all the way down to the Automatic 36. Miss Universe Australia, Monika Radulovic, was particularly taken with this more petite take on the classic Flieger. On the other hand, Bianca Cheah, the entrepreneur behind Sporteluxe, preferred the larger men’s models – her husband was quick to point out that she’s been known to ‘borrow’ his Top Gun Chronograph. The Mark XVIII received universal acclaim for it’s simple, clean aesthetic and ability to look the part with a tux. The purists in the room also gave the newly pared back dial on the Big Pilot the tick of approval.

If the response at the Australian launch is anything to go by, IWC’s iconic Pilot replica watches are going to reach new heights, and new wrists, this year.

Thanks to IWC for an amazing evening.

Vintage IWC Ingenieur 3239 Replica Watch Hands On

Around two weeks prior, I addresses Dimer and he demonstrated to me his as of late procured IWC Ingenieur from their Vintage gathering. Since I have a frail spot for the Ingenieur arrangement, I attempted this Vintage Collection Ingenieur a few times as of now and am extremely energetic about it. So it will undoubtedly happen that there will be one in my gathering sooner or later.

It appears as though IWC is guiding us towards the wrong watch in their media crusade. In their media crusade, IWC alludes to their first line-up of Ingenieur fake watches in the mid-1950s. The IWC Ingenieur replica ref.666 AD from 1955 to be more exact, which demonstrates to us that in any event they’re not exceptionally superstitious towards the utilization of specific blends of numbers. The 1955 model is alluding to, is demonstrated as follows.
Vintage IWC Ingenieur

As should be obvious, the photo of Dimer and the vintage IWC index picture above don’t match that well. Despite the fact that the hands, case configuration and “Ingenieur” print on the dial help us to remember the vintage model, there are very a few contrasts to best replica watches. The shade of the dial and the pie-dish state of the vintage model are likewise entirely unique in relation to the new Vintage Collection Ingenieur. With everything taken into account, a pleasant wellspring of motivation, yet one can scarcely talk about an imitation or legitimate re-release. It’s more like the current Rolex Milgauss versus the vintage Rolex Milgauss 1019 models, to name an immediate contender of a watch with a powerless iron internal case.

Vintage IWC Ingenieur

This genuinely huge time piece – for that period – of 36.5mm had this new twisting framework by the name of one of their executives, Albert Pellaton. This new winding framework was particularly valuable for high quality IWC replica watch creators, who now could just disengage the programmed winding framework and the barrel of the watch to do repairs on the origin or escapement, without uprooting the twisting framework altogether. Additionally, the Pellaton winding framework utilized an imaginative approach to make the development as stun confirmation as could be allowed, by utilizing this adaptable rotor span. This Pellaton winding framework is still present in various IWC watches, including the present line-up of Ingenieur models. Underneath, you see a nearby up of the present gauge 80110 development that has this stun evidence Pellaton winding framework. Despite the fact that IWC made up a decent story utilizing the wrong reference, the Ingenieur remains a spectacular hostile to attractive watch. Since these Ingenieur models aren’t welcomed by the masses, you can discover them genuinely well and pleasantly evaluated in the second hand market.

In Depth Replica IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Automatic Chronograph With 60M Water- Resistant

At SIHH 2016, IWC is launching a world time watch which was the first watch that can set a second time zone along with hour and date with a single move.It was a world time watch with the IIWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner chronograph (Ref. IW395001). This automatic chronograph is 45mm wide with a steel case which, including the bezel, is some 16.5mm thick. With a solid caseback and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal (that is specially secured against rapid pressure decreases), the IWC Pilot’s Timezoner Chronograph replica meets all of IWC’s requirements for a pilot’s watch and is water resistant to 60 meters.

IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Automatic Chronograph

Inside the watch was  IWC’s calibre 89760, a 4hz movement that offers 68 hours of power reserve, a date at three, hours (max: 12) and minutes recorded on the sub dial at twelve, and a jumping hour travel function. The IWC Pilot’s Timezoner Chronograph not only features a unique way of changing timezones, it also uses a somewhat strange worldtime/GMT display that links the local 12-hour hand with the 24-hour hand.

IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Automatic Chronograph

Look at the back of the case, there’s a simple stainless steel case back with a depiction of a Junkers Ju 52 plane. Back in the 1930s this was the most common civilian aircraft. With a complicated in-house movement and a unique interfaced bezel design, the Timezoner will come on a calfskin strap. It sports the worn-looking Santoni patina along with the softer, orange leather lining.
